Hello and welcome, I am so grateful for your interest in my writing.

I began writing after I turned 40 realising there was something else for me to do on this planet other than nursing.   I have spent most of my adult life working as a nurse and teaching nursing for over 20 years.  I spent time in a lot of areas of nursing including teaching, learning so much about the human spirit, life and what we call death.  Witnessing the effects of fear, grief, pain and happiness on a daily basis helped me to gain a deep understanding of the human spirit.  The area I most enjoyed while nursing was caring for the dying. Nursing someone to their death with dignity, love and care is so rewarding.

After our family had a devastating loss a few years ago I decide to make a big change to my life and retired from nursing.  My husband and I bought a business and moved to 'outback' Australia where we run this small business.

I never thought of myself as a author but also felt there was something within me that I had not found.  Writing has contributed to me feeling settled and peaceful but most of all has assisted me with assimilating my spiritual beliefs into my everyday life.

​

I am married and been blessed with 2 children that are now grown but continue to be my greatest teachers.

 

 I hold a Bachelor of Nursing and a Graduate Diploma in Adult Education.  I have also studied Bowen Therapy and energy medicine and continue on a daily basis to study spirituality.

​

I truely believe that we all need to grow spiritually, to grow in kindness, peace, joy and happiness. 

This is the only way we can make our planet a better, more loving place!

Writing these stories is my way of trying to open peoples eyes to see how we are shaped as humans to survive through our life events rather love and enjoy them.

​

Personal insight can make a massive difference to experiencing happiness and peace.  I hope this is what my stories demonstrate and that they assist people to seek out connecting with their spirit.
